Surprise. Surprise. Who hasn't blogged in a few months on her pregnancy like she said she wouldn't do? This gal! So, just to catch everyone up and to have something to look back on at some point in my life, here are the past due bump dates and gender reveal.
My first real 'bump' picture was at 19 weeks. I had just really started feeling little one move. After researching around 18 weeks to see if it was normal to NOT feel much movement, I was relieved when I finally did start feeling real little kicks to the abdomen and ribs. Which is weird, because I felt the little 'butterfly' movements so early! I was a bit scared there for a while. But baby Wimberly is happy and healthy!!
A few days after this photo, we found out baby Wimberly #2 is a…GIRL!! London is going to have a sister!!
I was so absolutely positively set on this baby being a boy, that I was kind of disappointed when I found out it was a girl. Not disappointed really, just not as excited. I know that sounds terrible. I was just thinking it meant that we were going to have all pink everything again and nothing 'new' to do. Plus, I so want for Jason to have a little boy to teach to play baseball and wrestle with and teach to be a Godly and respectful gentleman. But my mindset QUICKLY changed. I am SO excited for London to have a little sister, to be best friends with and have tea parties with and play dress up and watch princess movies with. I know she is going to be such a good big sister. My heart is so full!!
Thanks for checking in!!
xoxo,
Charity
